MY NEW LIFE INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING...

As I've worked harder than ever before to shed my excess weight I am uncovering new layers that I never thought I'd see again. I am seeing my true self again for the first time in almost 7 years. I am realizing that I don't have to hid behind the image of the "loud funny girl" anymore. I can be Sday without worrying that I have to make the first "fat comment" about myself before anyone else has the chance. I am not letting people walk all over me and I am learning to have a tiny amount of confidence in my back pocket.... only to be used occasionally:) Here are a few other layers to my soul that I have discovered on my journey of Sday Running:
I forgot about the pure oxygen in my life that tennis equates to. My PURE joy of just being on a tennis court and the sense of identity it gives me. Tennis is my HOME.
My new Tennis Racket: Wilson K Blade Tour

I have found nature and something I have never experienced before.... the intense love for a dog. Kash is my constant companion and where I go, he goes. He has helped through an amazingly difficult 1.5 years and I love sharing nature with him. We love snow.

I love to run. I love to run with Kashi.

I NEVER THOUGHT I'D BE THAT GIRL #2

A girl who is assumed to be a runner, based on her blood pressure and heart rate. Before I donated blood, my vital signs were being taken and the girl said, "Wow, you must be a runner or something, your blood pressure and heart rate are really low." Prior to my weight loss I had chronic high blood pressure and my resting HR was around 90.

FIFTY SIX DOWN

56 lbs. lost and 22 to go. I am hammering it out for the next 30 days to try to get rid of the last bit.

Thanksgiving was memorable and the post will be coming soon, with pics!
