BETTER LATE THAN NEVER... DESERT RAMPAGE

2009 MTB race season started out in sunny St. George a few weeks ago. The weather man attempted to scare us away with threats of rain, but we didn't listen. Race day was a little chilly but gorgeous. The trusty support crew, otherwise knows as the wives club, sat at the sidelines for feeds. The results of the race can be found at MTB RACENEWS.COM

On the way home from the race Kday and I decided to tour the backside of Utah and take the scenic Hwy89 home through Zion's National Park. I love road tripping with this man... great conversations and fun are always included.

I shouldn't have read my horoscope today... No wonder I can't have a baby, apparently I have too much emotional baggage.

SEE SPOT RUN

I taught Kash to run on the treadmill with me. We don't exactly hit top speed, but he loves it. He found me in the office with the treadmill blazing and I think he was super jealous that he wasn't running too. I felt bad as he sat next to the treadmill and stared at me running, wondering how I could run without him. He felt left out. Now he sits next to the treadmill and begs to go for a walk all by himself.

SWISS LOVE

Kday told me we need luggage for our trip to Switzerland. I said no thank you. He then purchased these bad boys on Whiskeymilitia for super cheap. He told me I would love it. I told him I wouldn't. I was wrong. I LOVE IT.

EXCUSE ME MR WEATHER MAN....

I have been waiting for my annual trip down south since the first snowfall of 2008. I hate this time of year, unless I am skiing everyday. I love the snow but the dreary short days, inversion, soggy wet... everything. I hate it. I get depressed and can't get out of the funk. So, kday takes me down to St George for a little R&R (this year it happens to fall of the weekend of his bike race.... oh yay) Last year was a bit more luxurious... but this year will do. HOWEVER, I am pleading with the "Weather Men" to PLEASE upgrade the rainy weekend for a nice 70 degree mildly sunny day so that I can survive until June...... please!!!!!

FIXED?

I THINK IT'S FIXED. EMAIL ME IF IT ISN'T. I kind of feel like the "shoe makers daughter" in that my fabulous husband is a graphic artist and has designed my website.... yet it's only half finished and not yet even close to what I want it to be. But sdayrunning is the last priority right now. And I'm ok with that, because I know that I'm actually first priorty or else he wouldn't be working so hard for us at R&R Partners.
