No bra on. In my Christmas Pj's. Eating a frozen burrito from Costc0 while sipping a Diet C0ke.
Sitting on the couch next to a "booger sucker" and a few rotten bottles
- the aftermath of a day with a sick baby.
I turned on the lights and invited them in.... threw on a hoodie to cover up the "sisters"
And tried to act casual.
I highly doubt I pulled of "casual."
Nice Sday, real nice... you couldn't have waited at least until 10 pm to take off your bra and change out of your cute jeans and nautical sweater?
I knew I should have cooked dinner tonight and picked up the house after 10 hours of rocking a sick baby to sleep.... Silly me!
:)
Super Awesome day.

ohhhh my gosh! i love you with all my heart. shan. you are too cute. guaranteed they walked in and seriously thought nothing of it except..."oh how sad her baby is sick. what a good mama to take care of her so well." truly. and to make you feel better...i once was in my g's and my visiting teachers came over and i totally forgot they were coming...so i wrapped a blanket around me and opened the door. i think they were scared. that probably doesn't make you feel better...just makes you remember what a freaker i am!! i really do love you tho. your story makes me smile.
Oh Shannie! Who cares! They are guys. They probably didn't notice a thing. If it helps I still have Christmas music on my shuffle that I haven't taken off and Christmas decorations in Moose's room still up.
Love ya!
You brightened my day - I get in those sweats as soon as I can when I get home .. can't wait until 10 pm! One reason I love our house is it has a little room for the ht/vt that hides the rest of the house! (Basically, the onlly time this room gets used). Hope Layla is feeling better.
Awesome story! That is hilarious. Maybe next time they will call before coming over. And making dinner is overrated when you have a sick baby.
well geesh, what time did they come over, because seriuosly what would you expect if you went to anybody's house after 7/8 I'd be in my sweats too and I'm home all day anyways. So I'm sure it was totally nothing. And um to your pink sweater rainy day pic.....I think you look absolutely amazing!!! We all have spare tires, because I too have one that totally mocks me, but some days I say "oh well, I guess that's what I get for laying around or for eating all those cookies", so that makes me then think that I need to do better, which kinda helps for awhile. So just keep it up, because if you stop now....it's just going to get worse!! =)
ps. LOVE the GRASS for the baby items. Wish they had something that cute when I had my first little boy!! and can't wait to see your flowers you are making and the teaser for layla's b-day already just looks so cute, so just can't wait!! =)
