MAMA MOMENT #7

In the chaos that surrounds us this week, Lady has taken charge of her own "to do" tasks. (like mother like daughter)
#1. She weened herself from her swaddle... no assistance required. I was planning on "attempting to ween" her next week and had prepped myself for a long hard road. Thanks for taking charge Lady.
#2. Learned to waste at least 1 hour of her nap sitting up by herself and playing in her crib. Eventually she falls asleep in some calk-eyed position. Usually with her legs up in the air resting on the bumper pads.
#3. Figured out how to pull herself to standing in the crib. Yes I freaked out when I got out of the shower and found her just chillaxing and checking out the view from her new lookout point. Time to lower the mattress again.

Who knows, by Saturday-- if I keep leaving her alone maybe she'll crawl just to spite me. Maybe that's just how our relationship is going to work... "When I quit pushing.... Lady will start doing." Dang how I love her soooo much that it's hard not to be all over her 24-7 though!
