K.C concocted a plan... it began as a way to create a Tree of Gratitude that doubles as a holiday dinner center piece. It ended as a late night of girlish giggles and a dare that was performed by... yours truly.
This is the outcome.
TREE OF GRATITUDE
We crafted some leaves of various sizes and colors and tied them with a lovely autumn yellow yarn. When those wonderful little thoughts of gratitude pop into your brain throughout the day, just write it down on a leaf and adorn the tree. By November 25th the tree shall be a vibrant reminder of the many good things in your life.
How are you expressing your gratitude this season?

and what was the dare?? you got me all curious ;)
Yes, I was wondering about the dare, too! This is a beautiful idea, love it and a little more beautiful than our turkey on the fridge with feathers indicating what we are grateful for!
What an awesome idea!! Cute too! i am thankful for awesome friends... will you put that on the tree for me?:)
I think the creativity bug skipped me. Glad it smacked you! You are so cool sis. Hope to see you guys for at least a day this holiday season. Sadly this is the BUSSSSSSY time of year down here. Dang europeans don't like our holidays.
At least I can hear from my son on your blog Shanny.
Good to have you at the house today. I presume the gratitude tree will begin to bud as time goes by. I know that you are grateful for many things. It shows in you blog.
Love, Dad
