Wowza. Apparently my Heavenly Father was waiting for me to admit my limits and humble myself long enough to admit my weakness. Literally 10 minutes after I pressed "Publish" on my last blog post, my water broke. I can't wait to tell you the story. It is beautiful and tender, and had moments of unbearable pain and then total and complete greatness. I'm exhausted. And just like this post... this baby was hard to find a fitting title. Nixon just didn't feel right. Neither did two of our back up names. But alas, he has a title and he is my flesh and my blood. Unreal.

I love those photos. You look beautiful. Owen is so cute. (and because I can't just say nothing for Kevin... you look great too Kev!). It was such a treat to see you and meet little Owen before leaving. He is amazing Shan. Seriously amazing and so freaking cute. I couldn't be more happier or thrilled for you guys. Owen is a lucky guy to have such great parents and such awesome siblings. I can't wait to see more updates. I already miss you!
PS. I kept thinking how beautiful you looked at the hospital. Despite being in PJs with no make up, you still looked so pretty. You definitely carry a fresh look after giving birth to a baby (or maybe you are just like that every day..). It was so weird to see you without your 9 month baby belly (and yes, I know you got confused and thought I was telling you, you still had a belly... wrong!... but don't worry that post baby belly will go away- for the most part ;). I also wanted to let you know how much I look up to you as a mother. You are one of my role models with how well you handle and love your children. Ok I realize this would have probably been better written in an email...so long..... oh well. I LOVE YOU!
